ABOUT
HopeVida began with a visit to Guatemala in 2024, where its founder witnessed firsthand how limited access to healthcare, education, and basic necessities can affect the lives of children and families. The experience inspired a simple belief: compassion becomes meaningful when it leads to action.
Motivated to better understand these challenges, she continued exploring issues affecting low-resource communities through her research, Environmental Pollution, Maternal Mental Health, and Pregnancy Outcomes in Low-Resource Communities. This research deepened her understanding of how environmental and social conditions can influence the health and well-being of mothers, children, and families.
In preparation for a return to Guatemala in 2026, HopeVida expanded its efforts by reaching out to sponsors and community partners and organizing donations of medical supplies, hygiene products, educational materials, Spanish-language books, and other essential resources for communities in need.
HopeVida’s work is made possible through the generous support of Holesman Healthcare, Speech Matters, Coway Palisades Park Branch, New Millennium Bank, and Spanish Book Library.
