OUR MISSION

HopeVida is a volunteer-based organization working to expand access to health and educational resources in underserved communities, beginning in Guatemala. Our mission is to turn understanding into action by supporting families through health education, educational materials, essential supplies, and sustained community partnership.

In some communities in Guatemala, unmanaged waste and environmental pollution have become part of everyday life. Limited access to clean surroundings and basic sanitation can create ongoing challenges for families, particularly for children, who may be especially vulnerable to the effects of these conditions.

In some rural communities in Guatemala, students attend school with limited access to basic infrastructure. Classrooms may be incomplete, or lack secure doors and enclosed learning spaces, while access to clean water and adequate sanitation remains a challenge. Some students rely on basic latrines rather than toilets with running water and proper waste-disposal systems.
